In recent years, the government has increased its supervision of drug quality and safety, and has put forward new requirements for the production, processing, and packaging technology of drugs. A group of pharmaceutical production enterprises have successively invested funds in the technological transformation of packaging equipment and innovation of production technology, which has to some extent improved the level and market competitiveness of China's pharmaceutical packaging machinery industry.
Overall, about 30% of enterprises in China's packaging machinery industry have low-level redundant construction. This situation not only wastes important resources such as limited funds and manpower, but also causes disorder and chaos in the packaging machinery market, hinders the healthy development of the industry, and restricts the upgrading and innovation of packaging machinery and packaging technology for small and medium-sized pharmaceutical packaging enterprises in China.
At present, the pharmaceutical packaging machinery in China is mainly single machine, with low technological content and automation level. It is rarely used in new technologies, processes, and materials, which cannot meet the requirements of the current development of pharmaceutical packaging enterprises in China. Some pharmaceutical packaging companies have to spend a lot of money to introduce advanced, high-efficiency, and high-precision complete sets of drug packaging production lines from abroad for technological transformation, resulting in a large part of the domestic market share being occupied by foreign brands.
From this perspective, the development space of pharmaceutical packaging machinery in China is still vast, and the level of packaging technology for pharmaceutical packaging machinery urgently needs to be developed. Overall, the main gaps between domestic pharmaceutical packaging machinery and international standards are as follows:
On the one hand, there are low production efficiency, high energy consumption, poor stability and reliability, outdated product design, rough appearance, low lifespan of basic and supporting components, and poor quality of domestically produced pneumatic and electrical components.
On the other hand, the application of control technology is limited. For example, remote control technology, stepper motor technology, information processing technology, etc. Experts point out that the packaging machinery level of Germany, Italy, the United States, and Japan is in a leading position in the world. Among them, the technological updates of the three types of mechanical equipment for molding, filling, and sealing in the United States are very fast.
Therefore, it can be seen that the development space of pharmaceutical packaging machinery in China is still vast, and the level of packaging technology for pharmaceutical packaging machinery urgently needs to be developed.
